Teaching F2F and High GPA
We have just finished the second week of small scale face to face teaching. I realise this hasn’t happened much elsewhere as universities have locked down and all teaching has gone online. However, I struggle to see how a science education can be regarded as complete without some hands-on practice of the skills that a science graduate should possess. We are also trying to work out what to do about the high GPA student lunch. I take all high GPA students to lunch once each semester, but this year that is not possible. So I shall record a video message to congratulate them – a small token but at least some recognition.
